NextGen Trucking

Pilot Course

NextGen Trucking is a grade 11-12 introductory course about the trucking industry created for the Manitoba Trucking Association.

This program is structured as a semester-length, half-credit (55 hours) elective course designed to provide senior secondary students with a comprehensive, industry-grounded introduction to one of Canada’s most vital economic sectors. Through a blend of classroom instruction, applied learning activities, case studies, and industry guest engagement, students develop foundational skills that are directly transferable to the workforce or post-secondary pathways.

This project included creating the teacher and student packages, resources (with custom images), assessments with keys, key concept and vocabulary presentations, projects, and interactive activities for the MTA.
